This page guides you through the steps you need to take as a new user of EZ-FRISK™.
Registration is a simple process that only takes a few minutes. You choose a user name and password then provide contact information. Then you select your initial purchase options, and provide payment information. Finally, after you accept the license agreement, you are given an opportunity to download the software. You can then install the software on your computer. You can use the software as soon as it is activated, which happens within one business day of your payment clearing -- often within two hours of registering when you provide credit card information during registration.
Most users get the EZ-FRISK™ software package by downloading it from our web servers using the Internet Explorer web browser. The file you download is an installation program. The download takes about 20 minutes on a DSL internet connection. If you have a slow internet connection, contact Support to request that a installation disk be mailed to you.
To install EZ-FRISK™, double-click on the installation program, then follow the instructions given on screen.
To launch EZ-FRISK™, use your Start menu, select All Programs, then select the EZ-FRISK™ folder name you chose during installation, then click on the EZ-FRISK™ icon. You will be prompted for your user name and password.
To learn EZ-FRISK™ open up our sample project and explore it. Projects contain and organize any number of seismic hazard analyses, spectral matching runs, and site response studies.
EZ-FRISK™ comes with a comprehensive online help system that covers program usage and technical background information. The same information is also available in Adobe PDF format, which allows you to print your own copy of the user's manual.
