EZ-FRISK™ lets you work with one or more fault databases.
The fault databases provided to you with your license may contain all of the faults that you need to use in your analyses, categorized by region. If not, you can easily add additional faults for new or existing regions into your personal fault database. Each region represents a combination of the geographical region and the source of the data. This allows you to easily maintain your fault data; when it is changed, all subsequent runs will be impacted.
To define a fault, you will need the following pieces of information:
For each fault you can define multiple, weighted models of magnitude recurrence. In this case, the program will compute and display the mean, but will not display any confidence curves.
You can easily include fault sources in your seismic hazard analyses from one or more regions. We give you tools to conveniently select all faults in a region, to select all faults in a region within a specified distance, or to individually select faults.
